Our New Heywood Hall Nursery will be ready for Little Explorers 1st September 2026.
Located next door to St. Augustines school and church.
It has taken a bit longer than expected to renovate our amazing Grade 2 Listed building, but we should be open for viewings in August 2026.
Our gorgeous building was a former schoolhouse designed by George Frederick Bodley, one of the foremost gothic architects during the mid - late 19th Century. The build was funded by Edward Stanley Heywood and built in 1874. He paid for the construction of the church and related buildings for the benefit of the local community. Heywood came from a family of influential and wealthy Manchester bankers, Brothers & Co. one of Manchester’s most prominent banks.
