Dear Parents/Guardians,
Spring is well on its way and here at Little Explorers we are looking forward to planting flowers and growing our very own vegetables. The children will be making some special gifts for mother’s day and lots of activities to decorate the nursery.
To do our bit for charity, on Friday 15th March Little Explorers will be having a teddy bears picnic for Red nose day. We are asking all the children to bring in their favourite teddy bear and if they would like to dress up. Sponsorship forms will be sent out or if you prefer you could make a one off donation.
During the Spring months we will be covering lots of new and exciting topics, these will include St Patrick’s day, Mothers day, pass over and Easter. We get to learn all about different religions and cultures that our friends in nursery celebrate.
Once again we will be asking all you lovely mummies, daddies, nanas, granddads and carers to help the children make an Easter bonnet. The children will show off their masterpieces and also do lots of great activities. Don’t forget the Easter egg hunt.
In the next week we will be looking at putting together the new spring menus. We had some lovely ideas from the parents for the winter menu so if there is something that you would like to see on the menus please speak to a member of staff.
Lunch is served to the children at 11am so if your child is going to be late and you would like a lunch saving please could you ring nursery and we will make sure your child’s meal is saved.
Please could we remind parents that the nursery doesn’t open until 8am and for insurance purposes we cannot let children into the nursery.
Thank you for all your continued support.
