Government Childcare Funding Explained (2025 Update)
Childcare funding can be confusing, but we’re here to help.
At Little Explorers, we accept all government funding and support parents through the process. Here's a quick breakdown of what’s available in 2025:
15 Hours (for all 3–4 year olds)
Every child is entitled to 15 hours per week, term-time only.
30 Hours (for working parents)
If you meet the income criteria, you could get up to 30 hours of funded care.
NEW: Funding for under 3s
From Sept 2024: 15 hours for children aged 9 months+
From Sept 2025: Up to 30 hours (eligibility applies)
