This Friday, our new Little Explorers Heywood Hall billboard goes up locally – and for us, it feels like another milestone in what has been an incredible journey.
For more than 150 years, education has been in the bones of Heywood Hall.
Built in 1874 and designed by renowned Gothic Revival architect George Frederick Bodley, this remarkable Grade II listed building has a long connection with the local community and generations of children.
When we took on Heywood Hall, our ambition wasn't simply to create another nursery. We wanted to carefully bring an important local building back to life and give it a purpose that felt right.
After two years of restoration, its original timbers, beautiful windows and historic character now sit alongside inspiring nursery spaces created for babies, toddlers and pre-school children.
And once again, Heywood Hall is filled with the sounds of children playing, exploring, learning and growing.
So when our new billboard goes up this Friday, it will mean rather more to us than simply a new sign.
It marks the beginning of the next chapter for Heywood Hall – and for Little Explorers.
